Numark Mixtrack Pro 3

I control my system with the Numark Mixtrack Pro 3. The Pro 3 is a great controller for beginner DJ's or someone who DJ's on the side with a low budget. The Mixtrack Pro 3 allows me to create loops, launch samples, and control hot cues with the 16 backlit rubber drum pads. I can instantly switch between Loop Mode, Sample Mode, and Hot Cue Mode. The Mixtrack Pro 3 new slimline low-profile design is made to be played with a complete mixer section, precise crossfader, three-band EQ, and dedicated music library navigation controls. I am in complete control of my music and I would recommend the Mixtrack Pro 3 to anyone interested in learning the art of DJ'ing.

When I perform in larger venues, I have two sets of JBL EON G2 Loudspeakers I can use alone or in tandem with my Behringers. The JBL EON G2 speakers are said to be the all-time best selling powered-speaker on the planet. The second-generation EON G2 series adds more power and improved versatility to an already proven product.

Serato DJ Pro

I use Serato DJ Pro to power my controller and manage my music files. Serato JD also allows me to create custom edits, extend and reimagine my music. This is possible by recording my cue point and censor actions/automation, which can be saved and looped, ready to re-trigger and start in an instant.

Some other great features you will find in Serato DJ are:

Two tracks can be mixed simultaneously using traditional DJ controls - scratch, nudge, bend, EQ
Serato Sync locks tracks together for seamless grooves
Serato Crates makes audio file management easy
Advanced iTunes integration

Custom DJ Booth

This is a DJ Booth that I am really proud of simply because I dreamed it, then built it all myself. I was in need of a professional DJ Booth but when I discovered how expensive a DJ Booth of the same size and shape were, I felt it was time to venture out and make it myself. My DJ Booth has a four panel front with a white perfomance spendex covering. Behind the panel is a 16.4ft RGB Color Changing Kit with a LED flexible strip, controlled with a 44-button Remote and power supply. The LED lighting sytem makes this DJ Booth one of a kind and a great way to enhance the club experience my clients are looking for.

My sound system consists of two Behringer B612D Powered Eurolive Loud Speakers. Due to their high-efficiency design, Eurolive B612D active loudspeakers crank out 1500 of the cleanest, punchiest audio watts and they have everthing packed into a compact loudspeaker system. The integrated sound processor provides total system control for dependable protection of the LF/HF transducers, and thanks to the built-in active high-pass filter, you can run them full out without the slightest hint of distortion.

This subwoofer is one of the most beautiful speaker systems I have ever seen. The PRX618S-XLF, extended low frequency subwoofer was designed and engineered to provide sub bass frequencies with accuracy and power. I use this sub as a single sub in a sub/sat system and the PRX618S-XLF performs with extreme efficiency and control. This is a product I am very proud of.

Chauvet Derby X

The Derby™X is a DMX-512 LED derby effect light, featuring individual control of all six LED clusters. Additional features include blackout/static/strobe, built-in automated and sound activated programs, and linkable power for up to 27 units. This unit has a very dramatic effect when fog or haze is added to the room as seen in the photos above.

The LX5™ is lightweight and compact, yet provides ample floor coverage. I operate this fixture in sound-active mode but the fixture can be run in automatic mode just the same. The moonflower is a very exciting light fixture and with a little fog or haze the beams of light have a very dramatic effect.

The DJ Scan 250™ features a bright 250 watt halogen bulb with a separate gobo and color wheel. The color wheel features seven brilliant colors plus white and the gobo wheel features 10 gobos plus a large spot. I use these lights in what I call my medium set up.

The DJ Scan 250 EX™ is a five channel, DMX intelligent fixture. The fixture can be used in three different operating modes; stand alone, Master/Slave configuration, or DMX controlled. I use the Master/Slave Configuration because it saves me a lot of time.

This unit has 20 different patterns with multiple variations of each pattern. Sound active with a built in mic and sensitivity knob. This laser is very simple to operate but it will add a powerful punch to any mobile DJ light show.
